Meet Nadine

COMING SOON!!!!

Some dogs ask for your attention the moment they meet you. Others ask for something even more special...

A little patience.

Meet Nadine a beautiful 2-year-old Weimaraner weighing 63 pounds with a heart that's every bit as beautiful as her striking silver coat. She arrived at the shelter in New Mexico as an unclaimed stray, and while we don't know how she lost the vision in one eye, we do know it hasn't stopped her from hoping for a brighter future. We have treated the eye and can tell it we know isn't slowing this sweet girl down one bit.

Because she can only see from one side, Nadine appreciates slow introductions. New situations can be a little confusing when you can't see everything around you, so she'll politely ask for a little personal space at first. But once she realizes she's safe, her true personality begins to shine.

She quickly relaxes into the sweetest, most easygoing companion.

In playgroup at the shelter, Nadine wasn't interested in being the life of the party. Instead, she chose the shade, quietly lounging alongside the other dogs, occasionally offering gentle kisses to her canine friends. She gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive with calm companions who enjoy peaceful afternoons just as much as she does.

She's low energy, does well in her kennel, and while she's still polishing up her leash skills, she's eager to learn with someone willing to guide her. Toys and treats weren't what won her over—kindness did.

Nadine wants someone willing to see past what's missing and recognize everything that's still there: a gentle heart, a quiet soul, unwavering loyalty, and so much love waiting to be shared.

She's proof that sometimes the dogs who have every reason to give up are the ones who love the hardest.

If you believe that second chances are beautiful, Nadine is waiting to meet you. All she needs is someone to help her kiss shelter life goodbye and show her that the best days of her life are still ahead.

Sometimes the sweetest companions aren't looking for someone to fix them...

They're simply looking for someone to love them exactly as they are. ❤️🐾
