Kiko

Meet Kiko: Your Velvety-Soft, Toy-Loving Best Friend

Kiko’s story starts with a bit of creative inspiration—he and his younger brother Charlie came from a pairing that blended the sunny charm of a Golden Retriever with the sleek elegance of a Weimaraner. While we’ll leave the genetics to the experts, one thing is certain: Kiko is the best of both worlds.

At two years old, Kiko has left the puppy chaos behind and settled into that perfect stage of life—an “ageless goofy enthusiast.” With his stunning black coat and soulful personality, he turns heads and melts hearts wherever he goes.

Personality
Kiko is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and just a little bit clumsy in the most endearing way. He has that classic Golden Retriever “I love everyone I meet” attitude, paired with the loyal, people-focused nature of a Weimaraner. He absolutely adores his humans and thrives on affection—belly rubs and ear scratches are his love language.

The Brains
Kiko is already house-trained and has great manners overall. He takes treats gently like a true gentleman and is even a slow eater—no special bowl needed! He walks well on a leash and does best with a gentle leader. While he can get excited at times, he’s eager to please and continues to learn quickly.

Energy Level
Kiko has a wonderfully balanced energy level. He enjoys walks, playtime, and greeting you with his favorite toy, but he’s equally content lounging nearby for a cozy afternoon nap. He’s a calm, easygoing companion who simply enjoys being with his people.

The Look
With his sleek, low-maintenance Weimaraner coat and striking appearance, Kiko is as stylish as he is lovable.

Home Life
Kiko is happiest when he’s close to his humans. He’s not a fan of the crate, but he does well when left alone in a secure, closed-off area. His laid-back personality makes him an easy addition to a home looking for a loving, low-drama companion.

Health Note
Kiko is heartworm positive (HW+), and Mile High Weimaraner Rescue will cover the full cost of his treatment.

Kiko may not have had the easiest start, but his gentle spirit, loving nature, and quiet charm make him truly special. He’s the kind of dog who sneaks into your heart and stays there.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will greet you with a toy, shower you with love, and happily curl up beside you at the end of the day, Kiko might just be your perfect match.

Could you be Kiko’s forever home? Give this sweet boy the chance he deserves—and he’ll reward you with a lifetime of wagging tails and velvet-soft cuddles.
