Kiko

Meet Kiko, the two-year-old "Golden Weim" who is officially ready to retire from his "oops" beginnings and start his career as your professional best friend. Don't let black dog syndrome fool you- this guys is Weim/Golden and is as cute as can be!! Photo of Mom and Dad below.

Kiko’s, who came in with his younger brother Charlie, origin story is a bit of a creative one: a breeder decided that the sunshine of a Golden Retriever and the sleek velvet of a Weimaraner belonged together. While we’ll leave the genetics to the experts, we can’t argue with the results. Kiko is a stunningly handsome boy with the heart of a Golden and the iconic, short coat of a Weimaraner.

At two years old, Kiko has moved past the tiny puppy stage and into that sweet spot of "ageless goofy enthusiast." He’s a total lover who hasn’t met a lap he doesn’t want to occupy (even if he’s a bit big for it!). Here’s the lowdown on our boy:

  • Personality: Sweet, snuggly, and endearingly clumsy. He’s got that classic Golden "I just met you and I love you" energy mixed with a bit of Weimaraner loyalty.

  • The Brains: He’s already house-trained! We are currently working on his leash manners—sometimes his excitement gets the better of him, but he’s a fast learner who just wants to please.

  • Energy Level: He has a "good" energy level—meaning he’s up for an adventure or a long walk, but he’s also perfected the art of the afternoon snooze.

  • The Look: That sleek Weim coat is low-maintenance and high-style.

Whether you’re a fan of Goldens, a devotee of Weims, or just a lover of unique, happy dogs, Kiko is proof that sometimes the most unexpected pairings make the most perfect companions. He’s spent his first two years waiting for the right person to see how special he is.

Could you be Kiko’s forever match? Give this black-coated sweetheart the chance he deserves and he’ll pay you back in wagging tails and velvet-soft cuddles for life.
