Meet Charlie, the one-year-old "Golden Weim" who is officially ready to graduate from puppyhood and find his big break!

Charlie is the younger brother of Kiko, and while they share the same unique "origin story"- a breeder’s creative pairing of a Golden Retriever mom and a Weimaraner dad (photos below)—Charlie is ready to embark on his own solo adventure. We’ve decided to adopt these brothers out separately so that Charlie can get all the focused love and "main character" attention he deserves.

At just a year old, Charlie is still filling out and has that adorable, lanky charm of a dog who is still growing into his legs. He is a stunning mix of a Golden’s soulful eyes and that lovely short Weimaraner coat.

Here is the "puppy-plus" lowdown on Charlie:

• The Personality: Charlie is an absolute lover and a total romper. He’s got a heart of gold and a spirit that is pure joy. He’s the kind of dog who thinks every day is the best day ever.

• Puppy Mischief: Since he’s still only one, he definitely has some "puppy mischief" left in him! Whether it’s finding a stray shoe or getting the zoomies in the hallway, he’ll keep you laughing. He isn't chewing much any more, but still find the odd sipper to carry around. He’s looking for a family who enjoys that playful energy.

• Energy Level: High-fun! Charlie is looking for a family to play, romp, and go on adventures with. He’d be a perfect match for an active household that wants a partner for hikes or backyard games.

• The Brains: Like his brother, he is house-trained! He is still learning his leash manners, but with a few treats and some consistent "good boy" praise, he’s going to be a star student.

• Charlie is cat friendly

• Sadly Charlie is HW+. The rescue will be covering the cost of the HW treatment.
