Steele

Steele is a 1 yr old, 70Lbs Weim mix (possibly with Doberman) found abandoned on the streets of Denver, quite emaciated and scratched up. We have fixed him up and now his beautiful ‘Apricot’ color – grey with a slight hint of gold has emerged. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is a great hiking, running and overall active companion- mixed with a massive load of cuddles when home. He LOVES daycare and the dog park and plays hard and respectfully. His foster mom has hiked many trails with him and he sticks right with her all the way. He then comes home to be a total lap dog while you watch your movies or chill out. He is still a naughty puppy in a big boy body when you are home looking for attention - his foster says he loves the recycle bin and plastic bottles….that crinkly sound is soooo….amazing! He adores his older kids (little ones get knocked over with too much love). He can live with a mellow dog…again he wants to play and some dogs get annoyed…and no cats please. He has some minor food allergies, managed with a limited diet you can buy anywhere. Overall Steele is an ideal Colorado dog….loves the outdoors and playing hard…and then loves a good chill to end the day.
