Duke is practically perfect in every way. We don't often get in dogs that are kid tested, and good with other dogs! (We don’t know about cats, but he is pretty lazy so think would be fine). is is. big boy, weighing in at 102lbs.

 

He is such a sweet 4yr old boy that likes to be around people and other dogs. He is an owner surrender due to family illness and lived with young kids in CO before he was transferred to us. They totally did the right thing in reaching out to an appropriate rescue to rehome him and we are grateful for Duke. Duke is a typical Velcro Weim and though he enjoys his walks can be a little lazy so would be good for a lower key home. He has plenty of energy for walks and hikes and is equally happy running around the yard and chillin at home. He is a silly get a long type of boy who likes to play with his foster brother. He is crate trained, but you can leave him alone in the house safely as well- whatever you prefer, he'll roll with it. Duke loves walks and def needs to lose a few pounds as his last family couldn’t get him out much. Duke went to a brewery last weekend and had a blast meeting people- he loves all people big and small and all dogs. He is a great dog with a wonderful personality!
