MHWC Events

Club Meetings:
The Mile High Weimaraner Club meets about 8 to 10 times a year. Club members meet to discuss upcoming events, Weim related items, and are great ways to meet fellow Weim owners. We welcome people who are interested in finding out more about the club to join us during the pre-meeting social time. Joining the club is a great way to meet people who share your love for the breed as well as making a difference for the breed.

CLUB EVENT: September Club Meeting - September 15th

Join us on Wednesday September 15th at 7:00 p.m. We will be meeting at the at Islamorada Fish Company at Bass Pro Shops located at 7970 Northfield Blvd Denver, CO 80238.- Bass Pro Outdoors at I-270 and Quebec. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m., but come early to have a bite to eat and visit at 6:30.

Directions:

From I-70 take the Quebec Street exit (Exit 278). Go North on Quebec Street to Northfield Boulevard and go East (right) to the first stop light, Uinta Street and go South. You'll see Bass Pro Shop on the north east corner.

From I-270 Southbound, take the Quebec Street Exit and go North to Northfield Boulevard, go East (right) to the first stop light, Uinta Street and go South. You'll see Big Bass Pro Shop at the left end. There is NO EXIT off of I-270 Northbound.

WCA Ratings Test: Mile High Weimaraner Club

WCA Ratings Test: August 28, 2010
Location: Hudson, CO

Update: The Ratings were a great success with 6 out of 10 dogs qualfying and congratulations to everyone that passed their NSD ratings.

Hunt Tests:

During a hunt test, dogs are judged against a standard. This allows for every dog the ability to pass their particular level. Hunt tests are also exclusively done on foot.

Field Trials:

Field trial participants are judged against other dogs as well as against the standard. The best at completing the standard when compared to the other participants may be put up for the ribbons. Field trials can be participated on horse as well as by foot or just by foot when this is designated.
